Swiss-based Web3 fintech YouHodler is extending its partnership with Torino Football Club, one of Italy’s oldest and most decorated sides. Founded in 1906 and boasting seven Serie A titles and five Coppa Italia trophies, Torino brings a century of tradition, while YouHodler contributes a regulated platform that offers crypto-backed loans, reward accounts, and currency exchange. Together, the collaboration bridges the club’s historic legacy with the innovation of digital finance.

Since the initial agreement in 2022, YouHodler has acted as Torino’s official crypto partner, becoming the first of its kind in the club’s long history. The collaboration has offered YouHodler exclusive visibility throughout the stadium, official digital channels, and on Turin’s historic club website. But this renewed agreement isn't just about branding. It represents a growing synergy, YouHodler leverages its regulated fintech offerings to tap into Torino’s passionate fan base, while Torino gains exposure to a rapidly emerging realm of Web3 finance, blending modernity and heritage in equal measure.

Over the years, YouHodler has organized engaging activations at Torino’s home ground, the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, including Crypto Summit events and fan-centered gatherings that bring players and supporters together in informal, tech-oriented settings. The partnership’s renewal promises expanded branding around the stadium, new contests, fan-rewards programs, and immersive digital experiences. The timing adds to the impact: the announcement coincided with Torino’s Serie A “Day 2” home match against Fiorentina, held on August 31, 2025, offering fans an immediate glimpse of YouHodler’s renewed presence.

Ilya Volkov, CEO and co-founder of YouHodler, emphasized the depth and longevity of the collaboration, saying, “While many crypto-sports deals have been short-lived, our relationship with Torino FC has only grown stronger. We’re not here for a season, we’re here for the journey.” He also underlined the shared values underpinning the deal, adding, “Torino’s resilience and remarkable history inspire us.”

On the Torino side, Matteo De Angelis, YouHodler’s country manager in Italy, observed, “From the first season, I noticed a change: fans recognize us, engage in activities, and see us as part of the Torro's family.” He continued by drawing parallels between the two organizations, saying, “We are so much alike! Both companies build their innovative future based on respect for traditions. YouHodler maintains a strong connection with traditional finance, working with digital assets and Web3, while respecting and leveraging traditional financial expertise. The same with Torino. Present rebirth based on close ties with the roots and history of the club.”

YouHodler’s commitment extends well beyond this partnership; the firm is also deepening its involvement in Europe’s blockchain and fintech ecosystem. Looking ahead, the company plans to participate in influential initiatives such as the CV Summit, Plan B Lugano, and Vienna Blockchain Week.
