Saudi Arabia-based game developer Majestic Mind Games has raised $1.45 million in an investment round co-led by Merak Capital and Impact46.

The Jeddah-based studio plans to use the capital to develop original game franchises aimed at international audiences. Its current focus is on PC games, although selected releases may also be adapted for consoles and mobile devices.

A Saudi Studio Building Original Games

Founded in 2023 by Lujain Albukhari and Majed Anbar, Majestic Mind Games describes itself as an independent game studio focused on titles that combine entertainment with strategic or thought-provoking elements. Albukhari serves as co-founder and chief business officer, while Anbar is co-founder, CEO and game director.

The studio’s team also includes lead artist Samaher Bantan and game programmer Mohammed Baeshen. Its approach centers on internally developed intellectual property rather than contract development or the adaptation of established overseas franchises.

The studio’s creative approach centers on building games that are entertaining while encouraging curiosity, strategic thinking and meaningful engagement beyond the immediate experience of playing.

Funding Targets Development and Wider Distribution

Merak Capital said the round would support Majestic Mind Games as it develops original PC titles and expands selected games to console and mobile platforms. The investor cited the studio’s combination of creative development, technical capacity and long-term execution as factors behind its decision.

Impact46 co-led the investment with Merak Capital, supporting the Jeddah-based team’s plans to develop games for international audiences across PC, console and mobile platforms.

The financing follows Majestic Mind Games’ move into commercial publishing with the 2025 launch of Tri Survive.

Tri Survive Provides an Early Test

Majestic Mind Games released its first commercial title, Tri Survive, on Steam on Sept. 18, 2025. The game is listed as an action roguelite role-playing title developed and published by the studio.

Instead of controlling a single character, players direct three heroes with separate combat functions: tank, damage and support. The game combines a story campaign with an endless mode built around repeated waves of enemies, giving the studio an early opportunity to test its design and production capabilities in the international PC market.

Steam lists Majestic Mind Games as both developer and publisher, suggesting the studio handled the title without a separate outside publisher. Moving future games to consoles and mobile platforms could require additional development, certification and distribution work, depending on the platforms selected.

NEOM Program Supported the Studio’s Development

Majestic Mind Games says it is supported by NEOM, but the available evidence does not show that NEOM participated in the newly announced $1.45 million round. The connection predates this investment and stems from the studio’s involvement in NEOM Gaming’s Level Up accelerator.

In a January 2026 announcement, NEOM identified Majestic Mind Games as a graduate of Level Up. The program provides participating Saudi studios with mentorship, funding opportunities and access to a network of game publishers and industry specialists.

NEOM also reported that Majestic Mind Games won the Best Games Startup award at the 2025 MENA Games Industry Awards, following a similar win by fellow Level Up graduate Starvania Studio in 2024.

Saudi Gaming Draws More Investor Attention

Merak Capital and Impact46 have previously invested together in Saudi game developers. Their latest participation places Majestic Mind Games among a growing group of locally based studios seeking to produce and own games rather than primarily distribute titles developed elsewhere.

Saudi Arabia has made gaming and esports part of its economic diversification strategy. NEOM said the domestic gaming industry is projected to contribute approximately $13.33 billion (SAR 50 billion) to gross domestic product by 2030.

The round also marks a step beyond accelerator support, bringing private investment into the studio’s development. Its progress could help show whether Saudi game developers can turn early institutional backing into commercially sustainable production.
