Apple and Broadcom Strike $30 Billion Deal for 15 Billion U.S.-Made Chips

Apple and Broadcom have expanded their long-running supplier relationship through a multiyear agreement expected to exceed $30 billion, covering custom silicon and advanced wireless components for future Apple products. The arrangement is set to run through 2031 and is expected to support production of more than 15 billion chips in the United States, including radio-frequency components made at Broadcom’s Fort Collins, Colorado, facility, where the company plans a $1.5 billion expansion.
