A new study by the Dubai Future Foundation and IBM Institute for Business Value found that the UAE is ahead of global peers in adopting AI governance platforms, with 20% of organizations already implementing structured AI governance compared with 12% globally. Drawing on insights from more than 1,000 senior executives across 20 countries and 23 industries, the report highlights the UAE's growing emphasis on AI sovereignty, resilience and responsible deployment, while noting that only 13% of organizations have fully implemented comprehensive governance frameworks across all AI initiatives, leaving significant room for further progress as AI adoption accelerates toward 2030.
