Abu Dhabi will once again take center stage in the global artificial intelligence ecosystem as it prepares to host the Global AI Show 2025 on December 8–9. Organised by VAP Group in partnership with Times of AI and with the support of the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau, the high-profile event is expected to bring together more than 5,000 attendees from across the world, including top-level government officials, technology leaders, investors, and researchers.

Now in its third edition, the Global AI Show has grown into one of the most influential gatherings in the artificial intelligence space. This year’s event will feature over 200 speakers, 150 sponsors and exhibitors, and 150 media professionals, all convening under one roof to explore the latest breakthroughs, trends, and investment opportunities shaping the future of AI.

The UAE capital, known for its strategic investments in frontier technologies, is an increasingly popular destination for global tech summits. The involvement of the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau further highlights the emirate’s commitment to positioning itself as a regional and international hub for AI-driven innovation and policy leadership.

The event has previously featured notable figures such as Honourable Nate Glubish, Minister of Technology and Innovation for the Government of Alberta, Canada; H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the United Arab Emirates Government; Janet Adams, COO of SingularityNET and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI); and Georges De Moura, Group Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at EDGE. Their participation reflects the event’s growing stature as a platform where key public and private sector voices converge.

The 2025 edition is expected to expand on this legacy by serving as a strategic forum for discussions on the real-world impact of AI across industries such as healthcare, finance, education, cybersecurity, defence, and energy. Topics likely to dominate the agenda include AI governance, ethical frameworks, generative AI applications, and the role of AI in sustainable development.

In addition to the core conference, the event will serve as the anchor of “Global AI Show Week,” a wider initiative running from December 3 to 12. Designed as a country-wide celebration of artificial intelligence, the week will feature a range of satellite events, including roundtables, networking mixers, product showcases, and academic panels, aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration between stakeholders across disciplines and borders.

Organisers say the extended format is intended to build a more holistic ecosystem around AI, connecting researchers, founders, policymakers, venture capitalists, and enterprises in a dynamic, multi-day programme that promotes both commercial opportunities and long-term strategic thinking.

Over the years, the Global AI Show has built a reputation for creating a high-impact network of AI trailblazers, catalysing conversations that translate into real-world action. From sparking partnerships and investments to influencing policy directions, the event has become a critical venue for those shaping the future of intelligent technologies.

With rapid advancements continuing to transform everything from business operations to national security, the 2025 edition of the Global AI Show is expected to play a pivotal role in steering the global AI conversation, at a time when technological leadership is increasingly seen as synonymous with geopolitical and economic influence.
