Mashaal Al Jomaih, CEO of Investcorp Saudi Arabia, noted that the Stake partnership supports Investcorp’s strategy to expand access to private market investments through digital platforms. (Image: Provided)Under the agreement, investors using the Stake application will be able to participate in real estate investments that have traditionally been limited to institutional investors. The partnership combines Investcorp’s investment selection and due diligence processes with Stake’s technology-enabled platform, as digital access to private market assets continues to gain traction across the region.
The collaboration forms part of Investcorp’s broader strategy to build a global digital investment ecosystem. The alternative asset manager has been increasing its focus on technology-led distribution, following the launch of its proprietary Investcorp Wealth mobile application last year, which provides investors with digital access to private market opportunities. The partnership with Stake extends this strategy by leveraging a third-party fintech platform with an established investor base.
All offerings made available under the agreement are structured within the regulatory framework of the Capital Market Authority in Saudi Arabia. The CMA has introduced measures aimed at expanding investor participation in private investment funds while maintaining compliance and investor protection standards.
Mashaal Al Jomaih, CEO of Investcorp Saudi Arabia, said: “Investcorp is committed to redefining access to private markets through digital innovation, and strategic partnerships with platforms such as Stake are a key pillar of our global digital platform strategy. This agreement enables individual investors to participate in high-quality opportunities historically reserved for institutions, combining Stake’s advanced technology with our global investment capabilities and disciplined approach.”
Manar Mahmassani, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Stake, commented: “As we continue to make real estate investing more accessible, partnering with top tier investment managers like Investcorp allows us to bring high-quality opportunities to our users. This partnership brings us one step closer to our vision of enabling investors worldwide to access prime, institutional-grade global real estate investments through a single digital platform.”
According to the companies, the first U.S.-based real estate offering launched under the agreement attracted strong investor demand, with participation from thousands of investors. A second tranche has since gone live on the Stake platform.
The agreement highlights the growing role of digital platforms in expanding access to alternative assets in Saudi Arabia, as asset managers and fintech firms increasingly collaborate within a regulated framework overseen by the Capital Market Authority.
