A new initiative aimed at simplifying business formation in the UAE is bringing together licensing, banking and operational support under a single framework, as Creative Zone, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone and Mashreq Neo Biz unveil a bundled startup program targeting early-stage entrepreneurs.

The “Young Entrepreneurs’ Business Setup Program” is designed to support aspiring founders and first-time business owners navigating the process of establishing a company in the UAE.

For many new entrepreneurs, the early stages of building a company are often shaped by administrative requirements, regulatory processes, and access to essential services. The newly launched program seeks to address these challenges by bringing together key elements of business setup into a more coordinated process.

The initiative is led by Creative Zone in partnership with RAKEZ and Mashreq Neo Biz, forming a collaboration that combines business licensing, free zone infrastructure and digital banking services. By aligning these components, the program aims to offer a more streamlined entry point for individuals looking to establish a business.

This approach reflects a broader shift toward simplifying the startup journey, where reducing complexity at the outset can play a meaningful role in helping founders focus on building and operating their businesses.

More Than $4,000 (AED 15,000+) in Bundled Support

At the center of the program is a package of services valued at more than $4,000 (AED 15,000+), offered to participants as part of the initiative. The support is structured to cover several core aspects of business setup and early-stage operations.

The program includes assistance with company formation and access to a digital business banking solution through Mashreq Neo Biz. It also incorporates support related to regulatory requirements, helping founders navigate key administrative processes associated with establishing a business in the UAE.

Beyond setup, the initiative extends into operational support, providing access to services that can help new businesses begin functioning more effectively from the outset. The bundled nature of these offerings reflects an effort to reduce the number of separate steps typically involved in launching a company.

Rather than focusing solely on registration, the program is positioned as a broader support framework designed to assist founders during the initial phase of their business journey.

Addressing Early-Stage Friction

Creative Zone Group CEO Lorenzo Jooris highlighted the importance of making entrepreneurship more accessible, emphasizing that practical support can play a key role in helping new founders take their first steps.

Early-stage entrepreneurs often face challenges that go beyond their core business idea, particularly when dealing with administrative procedures, compliance requirements, and access to financial services. By combining multiple forms of support into a single initiative, the program aims to reduce some of that friction.

The model reflects an understanding that simplifying the setup process can have a direct impact on how quickly and effectively new businesses are able to get started.

The collaboration between Creative Zone, RAKEZ, and Mashreq Neo Biz highlights a more integrated approach to supporting entrepreneurship. Traditionally, business setup, banking, and operational services have been handled separately, requiring founders to engage with multiple providers.

By bringing these elements together, the program represents a more connected framework, where key services are aligned from the outset. This type of structure can help reduce duplication, improve coordination, and create a more cohesive experience for new business owners.

Ecosystem participants see such collaborations as a shared effort to support the growth of new businesses by making the early stages of company formation more manageable.
