Canada Crypto Week is set to return from July 20 to July 26, 2026, bringing a week of conferences, networking sessions, community events and industry programs focused on cryptocurrency, Web3, digital assets and artificial intelligence.

Now in its sixth year, the initiative has grown into one of Canada’s largest week-long gatherings for the blockchain and digital asset sector. This year’s schedule is expected to include more than 50 independent events, with programming designed for founders, developers, investors, institutions, policymakers and community members.

The week will be anchored by Blockchain Futurist Conference Toronto, which will take place on July 21 and 22 at Rebel Entertainment Complex and Cabana Pool Bar in Toronto. The conference is positioned as the flagship event of Canada Crypto Week and is expected to serve as a central meeting point for attendees participating in the broader schedule of events.

A Week Built Around Web3 and AI

Canada Crypto Week has traditionally focused on blockchain and digital assets, but this year’s programming also places significant emphasis on artificial intelligence. The 2026 schedule reflects a wider trend across the technology sector, where discussions around Web3 infrastructure, digital finance, regulation and AI are increasingly overlapping.

Organizers said the week is intended to bring together entrepreneurs, builders, investors and institutions through a mix of formal conferences, community gatherings and specialized industry sessions. The event calendar includes programs covering topics such as AI agents, digital asset compliance, stablecoins, institutional adoption, Web3 communities and global blockchain ecosystems.

The week begins with Web3TO Toronto Conference 2026 on July 20. The one-day event is designed to bring the local Web3 community together for discussions on the future direction of the industry. From there, the program expands into a series of events running alongside Blockchain Futurist Conference.

Blockchain Futurist Conference Takes Center Stage

Blockchain Futurist Conference Toronto will remain the central event during Canada Crypto Week. Scheduled for July 21 and 22, the conference is expected to draw thousands of attendees and host a broad range of programming connected to blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital assets and artificial intelligence.

The venue setup at Rebel Entertainment Complex and Cabana Pool Bar has become one of the distinguishing features of the Toronto conference. Rather than operating as a conventional conference hall event, the gathering combines panels, networking, brand activations, workshops and community experiences across a large entertainment and waterfront venue.

This format has helped the conference become a recurring hub for Canada’s blockchain sector, particularly during a period when the industry is attempting to balance renewed interest in digital assets with ongoing regulatory and institutional scrutiny.

Compliance and Regulation Take a Larger Role

One of the notable additions to the 2026 program is a Compliance Breakfast scheduled for July 22. The invite-only event will bring together regulators, policymakers, compliance executives and industry leaders for discussions on digital assets, AI, regulation and innovation.

The session is being presented by VerifyVASP, Inca Digital, XReg Consulting, Crystal Intelligence and Cloudburst Technologies. Its inclusion comes at a time when compliance has become a central issue for crypto businesses, particularly as regulators in North America and other major markets continue to refine rules around digital asset activity.

Although Canada has maintained an active crypto and blockchain ecosystem, companies operating in the sector continue to face questions around registration, investor protection, anti-money laundering standards, stablecoin oversight and institutional participation. Events such as the Compliance Breakfast suggest that regulatory dialogue is becoming a more prominent part of industry gatherings.

AI Agents Join the Program

Artificial intelligence will also feature in the week’s schedule through Agentic Day, presented by Hello Agentic on July 21. The afternoon program will focus on AI agents and autonomous intelligence, bringing together participants working on emerging applications in the field.

The addition of an AI-focused program reflects the changing nature of Web3 conferences, many of which are broadening beyond blockchain-only conversations. As AI systems become more integrated with financial technology, data infrastructure and digital identity tools, event organizers are increasingly treating AI as part of the same innovation ecosystem as blockchain and decentralized technologies.

Agentic AI, in particular, has attracted attention from developers and investors because of its potential to automate tasks, interact with digital systems and support new types of software applications. Its appearance at Canada Crypto Week signals growing interest in the intersection between autonomous software agents and decentralized networks.

Community Events Add to the Schedule

Beyond the main conference and specialized industry sessions, Canada Crypto Week will include a wide range of community-focused events. The announced lineup includes ETHWomen, ETHToronto, the Association for Women in Cryptocurrency’s facilitated networking session, Whitepaper Reading Club sessions, book signings, a Bored Ape Meetup, Doginal Dogs VibeZone and Solana VibeStation.

The schedule also includes the Pudgy Penguins Vibes Card Game Event and SheFi Morning Social at ETHWomen, adding more community-focused programming to the week’s lineup.

Other events on the schedule include the Invest Hong Kong Workshop, titled “The Global Hub for Digital Assets,” as well as House of Intelligence: Where Institutions Meet Web3, presented by House of ZK. The variety of sessions points to the broadening scope of the sector, with programming aimed at both technical communities and institutional participants.

The 5th Annual ETHWomen will also return as part of the week. The event focuses on women in the Ethereum and Web3 ecosystems and is expected to include community programming, networking and industry discussion.

Sponsors and Partners Support the Week

Canada Crypto Week will be supported by a range of sponsors, community organizations and media partners. Stablecorp and QCAD are joining as a leading sponsor and the Official Stablecoin Partner of Canada Crypto Week. Their involvement highlights the continued role of stablecoins in conversations around digital payments, settlement and crypto adoption in Canada.

CryptoNomads will also support the week as a sponsor, with a focus on connecting Web3 professionals and digital nomads through its global network. Crypto Citizens Network, also known as CCN, is expected to conduct live interviews and capture insights from participants during the week.

Cayman Finance will return with its Rum Bar Cayman Experience in the VIP Cabana Area on July 21 and 22. The activation is designed to give VIP attendees a chance to connect with companies from the Cayman Islands and learn more about doing business in the jurisdiction.

Canada’s Crypto Sector Looks to Build Momentum

The return of Canada Crypto Week comes as the digital asset industry continues to search for stronger institutional footing after several years of market volatility, regulatory pressure and renewed investor interest. While crypto markets have become more mature, the sector remains shaped by questions around policy, consumer protection, use cases and long-term adoption.

Canada has played a visible role in the global crypto industry, particularly through exchange-traded crypto products, mining activity, blockchain startups and developer communities. Events such as Canada Crypto Week offer a snapshot of how the country’s Web3 ecosystem is positioning itself as digital assets, AI and financial technology continue to converge.

Tracy Leparulo, Founder of Canada Crypto Week, said: "Canada Crypto Week is where Canada's Web3, digital asset, and AI communities come together to connect, collaborate, and build the future."
